With MLG X Games Aspen going live in approximately twelve hours time, we have compiled an official viewer's guide so that you can set your schedules accordingly. As the first notable tournament of the 2015 season commences, eight teams will battle it out—not on the slopes but in the server—for a share of the $50,000 prize pool. The exact prize breakdown is as follows: 1. $25,000 The teams are divided into two groups of four and the first two days will see teams playing every respective member of their group in a round robin format. The top two sides from both groups will advance to the single elimination playoffs with a best-of-three format in effect.
